Payday obviously doesnt do this and have said previously you can use gameplay changing mods as long as they dont hurt other players or unlock things that are paid for (This also includes items like event masks that require keys I believe) still the same as paid cheats just with a different name. I somewhat disagree, theres a few reasons people use cheats.Ĭheat codes and cheat options were available for years by developers for players who want to just mess around and have a different kind of fun that doesnt follow the rules the devs set, then it was turned into a money thing where some devs sold the cheat options as DLC, then some devs went and made money something you buy instead of cheating. To answer question 2: I wish they would pull mod support for the game completely as the damage it has done to the game is beyond reckoning. People are just too weak-minded to bother. Each heist has a process, which, if you follow it, will pretty much give you total success most the time. All the stealth missions are actually easy, you just have to use your brain to figure them out. They're spoiled rotten little pieces of garbage who defeat themselves in the end because they haven't earned anything and in the end that's the real reward for playing - knowing you can do it. They want instant gratification, they don't want to put in the time, and they don't understand the reward you get for working at something.

So many people have cheats because theyre whiny little babies who can't stomach the tiniest challenge and are too afraid to challenge themselves or use their brains.
